1. The Beginning

God

Walked in Adam in the cool of the day. Prophesied the war 

2. The Fall of Adam

Abel

Prophesied the giving of a righteous sacrifice by blood.

Noah

A preacher of righteousness who prophesied the condemning of the world and the saving of the soul through water.

Abraham

The father of the one seed of promise, in whom we are heirs.

Isaac

Born after the Spirit, child of promise.

Jacob

Prophesied the 144,000 of God’s people (Fathered the 12 tribes of Israel)

Moses

A prophet like unto Jesus, who delivered God’s people and prophesied the spiritual law (living oracles) of God from heaven. (Moses life is detailed in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy)

Aaron

High priest and prophet of Moses .

A prophetess who led the woman with timbrels and with dances after God parted the red sea for Israel.

Prophesied in the camp of Israel (in the wilderness in the camp of Moses).

Led Israel into the land of Canaan, conquering all enemies.

Deborah

Prophetess and Judge, and Mother of Israel (During the time of the Judges).

(who’s not named; during the time of the Judges) Sent to prophesy to Israel after they cried unto the Lord because of the Midianites.

Samuel

Prophesied to King Saul (1st King of Israel), anointed David as King.

Life is detailed in the book of 1 Samuel (1 Samuel 2:35; 3:19-20); Acts 3:24; 13:20-23, Hebrews 11:32

 

Prophet (2)

Company of prophets (who’s not named; during the time Samuel the prophet), King Saul prophesied with them.

David

Father of Jesus, anointed King of Israel (2nd King of united Israel)

Gad

Prophesied to King David (2nd King of united Israel).

Nathan

Prophesied to King David (2nd King of united Israel).

Asaph

A seer for King David (2nd King of united Israel) who prophesied with instruments in the tabernacle.

1 Chronicles 6:31-32,39; 1 Chronicles 15:1-19; 1 Chronicles 16:4-5, 7-37; 25:1-9; 29:30; 2 Chronicles 35:15 (His name appears in the superscriptions of Psalms 50; 73-83)

 

Heman

Aseer for King David (2nd King of united Israel) who prophesied with instruments in the tabernacle.

Jeduthun

A seer for King David (2nd King of united Israel) who prophesied with instruments in the tabernacle.

Agur

(who’s not named) Came out of Judah to prophesy to King Jeroboam (1st King of northern Israel).

An old prophet (who’s not named) that prophesied against the man of God who disobeyed the Lord (during the reign of King Jeroboam, 1st King of northern Israel).

Iddo

A prophet and seer who recorded the events of King Solomon’s reign concerning King Jeroboam (1st King of northern Israel).

Azariah

Prophesied to King Asa of Judah (3rd King of the southern kingdom of Judah).

Hanani

A seer who prophesied to King Asa (3rd King of the southern kingdom of Judah).

Jehu

Prophesied in the days of Ahaz (12th King of the southern kingdom of Judah), to a host that went up to Samaria with the captives of Judah.
